The Aiguilles room
The great window frames the Aiguilles de Chamonix. Leave the curtain open for the first light on the granite.
The Dru room
Old larch walls, a rust-coloured blanket. The balcony looks over the forest and, above it, the spire of the Dru.
The Mélèzes room
Under the roof slopes, the bullseye window onto the larches. The quietest room in the house.
The Dortoir
The children's hideout: two beds under the beams, the sledge in the corner, snow or pasture at the window.
The baths
Honed granite, stone basins, waffle towels. One en suite with the Aiguilles room, two more to share without queuing.
